Welcome to the Class Responder Platform that includes Classresponder.com, Class Responder App, and various related apps (collectively, the "Site"), owned and operated by Teacher Created Resources. Here at Teacher Created Resources, we make the privacy of those who visit our site (individually, "You" or collectively, "Users").

This Privacy Policy describes what information we gather from you, how we use that information, and what we do to protect it. By using the Site, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this notice.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Teacher Created Resources Terms and Conditions. Your use of the Site and any personal information you provide on the Site are subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and Teacher Created Resources Terms and Conditions

Section 1.1: Personally Identifiable Information.

Teacher Created Resources collects information in several ways from different parts of our site. Some personal information is gathered when you register. Depending on your account type, Teacher Created Resources may ask for your name, e-mail address, and/or additional information. We may also ask you to choose a username and password.

In addition to the information we collect when you register, we may ask you for personal information at other times, such as when you contact our technical support team. Furthermore, when you send e-mail, user surveys, or other communication to Teacher Created Resources, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our services.

If you choose to provide such information, during registration or otherwise, you are giving Teacher Created Resources the permission to use and store it consistent with this policy.

Section 1.2: Cookies.

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, Teacher Created Resources uses cookies to temporarily store information about you. A cookie is a small file on your own computer containing a string of characters that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to better display our website, to save you time, and to provide better technical support.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features and services (particularly those that require you to log in) may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.

Section 1.3: "Automatically Collected" Information:

When you use the Site, we may automatically record certain information from your browser. Section 2.1: Use of Information.

Teacher Created Resources' goals in collecting personal information are to provide you, the user, with a customized experience on our sites and a high level of technical support.

Teacher Created Resources does research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration, from our server log files, or from surveys. We do this to better understand and serve our users; for instance, this information often gives us ideas for improving our products. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis.

Section 3.1: Disclosure of information.

As a general rule, Teacher Created Resources will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the reasons that your information may be disclosed: Business Partners & Sponsors. Teacher Created Resources will never disclose your personal information to business partners or sponsors, unless it is specifically described to you prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. If personally identifying data about you will be shared, we will tell you before we collect or transfer the data. If Teacher Created Resources becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Third Party Data. Teacher Created Resources does not disclose personal information or share collected data to Third Party Users. Shared Information. Teacher Created Resources enables you to share your User Assessments, Activities & Polls with other Users of the Site. If your User Assessments, Activities & Polls are shared with other Users, any personally identifiable information that you choose to include in, or is associated with, such User Postings will be accessible by such Users. Once you make your personally identifiable information available to others in any of these ways, it may be collected and used by the recipients without restriction. Teacher Created Resources enables Users to share information and resources. If you are a User subscribing to the Site and you consent, Teacher Created Resources may disclose certain personally identifiable information to other Users of the Website, such as your teachers or other Users associated with your Educational Organization. If you consent, Teacher Created Resources may also share information about your use of certain site features with other Users of the site, such as sharing your activity history with your teacher or Users associated with your Educational Organization. Other. Teacher Created Resources may release personal information if it has a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of Teacher Created Resources, its users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

Section 4.1: Your choices regarding collection, use and distribution of information.

Teacher Created Resources may, from time to time, send you e-mails regarding our products and services. Only Teacher Created Resources will send you these direct emails. You can choose not to receive these e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail or contacting custserv@teachercreated.com Attn: Class Responder.

You also have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. However, if you choose to reject all cookies you will be unable to use those Teacher Created Resources services, such as the activity and quiz creation tools, which require registration in order to participate.

You may decline to share your personally-identifiable information with Teacher Created Resources, in which case Teacher Created Resources will not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality found on the Site.

To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you account access or making corrections to your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information at all times.

Section 5.1: Third party advertisers and links to other sites:

The site may be linked to internet websites operated by other companies. Teacher Created Resources does not permit other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within the Site.

Section 6.1: Updating, correcting or deleting your personally identifiable information

You may edit your account information at any time by logging into your account and clicking the Settings link. We recommend that you review your personal information periodically to ensure that it is accurate, complete, and current.

If you have forgotten your password, go to the password request form. A new password will be sent to the e-mail address you specified during registration. For all other problems logging into Teacher Created Resources services, please contact technical support for that service. Please contact technical support via phone 800-662-4321 or email at custserv@teachercreated.com Attn: Class Responder for further instructions about deleting or deactivating your account for any Teacher Created Resources service. Residual information will remain within our archive records.

Section 7.1: Security precautions

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

Your registered accounts are password-protected so that you and only you have access to any personal information you have entered in your account. You may edit your account information at any time by logging into your account and clicking the Settings Profile link.

For your protection, remember to log out of all accounts before closing your browser. There is a log out link available on most Teacher Created Resources pages. After logging out, make sure to close all browser windows. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information if you share a computer with someone else or are using a public computer. We restrict access to personal information to Teacher Created Resources employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Section 8.1: Children’s privacy

Teacher Created Resources does not ask a student user or child under age 13 for more personal information, as a condition of participation, than is reasonably necessary to participate in a given activity. Students may log in to the Site with a non-identifiable ID. Teacher Created Resources will never knowingly share personally identifying information about student users or users who are under the age of 13 with business partners or other third parties.
